Any and all graduating students may apply for this scholarship, regardless of intentions of furthering their education, their GPA, gender, sexual preference or extracurricular activities.

In order to be considered for one of the four (4) scholarships, applicants must answer ONE out of the three following prompts:
1.) Out of the ashes, a hero arose…” finish the rest.
(The submission is not required to be in writing, there is no minimum word requirement; the applicant is encouraged to respond in a creative medium of their choosing.)
2.) Describe a quote, lyrics, or a piece of art that has had a major impact on you. (The submission is not required to be in writing, there is no minimum word requirement; the applicant is encouraged to respond in a creative medium of their choosing.)
3.) Describe how a creative outlet has helped you overcome adversity. (The submission is not required to be in writing, there is no minimum word requirement; the applicant is encouraged to respond in a creative medium of their choosing.)
**Responses to the prompts may be in whichever format the applicant feels demonstrates their abilities best, whether that be an essay, poetry, short story, drawing, painting, a short video, a song, a sculpture, a collage or even an interpretive dance. If your creative outlet is not listed here, by all means submit it! That means your creativity has already ousted ours and that is exactly what we're looking for.**
